- ABSTRACT This review article examines different psychoeducational guides published on web sites that have been developed by different universities en the word in order to guide students who have difficulty coping with their perfectionist tendencies, especially when they are dysfunctional. It will briefly define the perfectionism construct considering the predominant interventions in the detection of perfectionism at university the problems associated whit perfectionism the main coping strategies to deal with this issue. METHODS: Literature review. Conceptual analysis. Objectives: It is expected that through this review, a future local psychoeducational guide can be made which will useful for university students, just as in the great universities of the word and that will provide them with to detect their perfectionist tendencies and develop different strategies to migrate the negative implications these.
RESUMEN
El presente artículo de revisión examina diferentes guías psicoeducativas publicadas en los sitios web que fueron desarrolladas por distintas universidades del mundo con el fin de orientar a estudiantes que presentan dificultades para afrontar sus tendencias perfeccionistas, especialmente cuando éstas son disfuncionales. Se expondrá brevemente la definición del constructo perfeccionismo, examinado las intervenciones predominantes en la detección del mismo en la universidad, los problemas asociados a éste y las principales estrategias de afrontamiento de dicha dificultad. METODOLOGÍA: Revisión bibliográfica. Análisis conceptual. OBJETIVOS: Se espera que a través de dicha revisión, se pueda configurar una futura guía psicoeducativa local que sea de utilidad para los estudiantes universitarios, del mismo modo que en las grandes universidades del mundo y brinde herramientas que les permitan detectar sus tendencias perfeccionistas así como desarrollar diferentes estrategias para aminorar las implicancias negativas de éstas.
