El tatuaje en la adolescencia : un enigma a ser descifrado. = Tatooing among adolescents : an enigma to be deciphered.

RESUMEN

La adolescencia es un momento de resignificación en el que se intenta dar un nuevo sentido al presente y tomar fuerza para proyectarse al futuro. Hoy en nuestra sociedad y también a lo largo de la historia aparece el tatuaje asociado a múltiples sentidos. ¿Qué misterio, qué enigma a descifrar está en juego en ese dibujo escrito en la piel que contiene la paradoja de ser siempre el mismo a la par que diferente? Nuestra investigación se centra en los sujetos de la etapa adolescente, en los cambios que en ella se producen y también en el espacio y el tiempo en que sus cuerpos buscan o encuentran un sentido en el tatuaje. El objetivo es presentar la interrelación existente, en especial en la adolescencia, entre el tatuaje, la incapacidad de expresar los afectos (alexitimia) y aquellos sucesos vitales de gran impacto emocional.

ABSTRACT

Adolescence is a time to find a new interpretation, when a new meaning is given to the present, and to absorb strength to be projected towards the future. Today in our society, and also historically, tattooing appears associated to multiple meanings. What mystery, what enigma to be deciphered is at stake in this drawing written on the skin that contains the paradox of always being the same and at the same time different? Our research is centered on adolescents, on the changes produced among them, and also on the space and time when their bodies look for, or find, a meaning in tattooing. The objective is to present the existent interrelationship, specially among adolescents, between tattooing and the incapacity to express affection (alexitimia) and those vital events with a great emotional impact.
