- ABSTRACT The resource of the facilitated writing allows the treatment of cases of severe developmental disorders which are not able to use oral, written or gesture language, or whose oral language is very limited, echolalic or bizarre. The communicational increase that is obtained goes regularly accompanied of a considerable increase in the level of psychic processing. The synopsis of a case under treatment during seven years, since he was nine, is presented. Among other acquisitions, stands out the beginning of verbal language, the capacity to maintain dialogues and the appearance of other symbolic behaviors like drawing.
RESUMEN
El recurso de la escritura facilitada permite el abordaje de casos
de trastornos severos del desarrollo que carecen de lenguaje oral
o poseen un lenguaje oral muy limitado, ecolálico o bizarro y no
utilizan señas ni escritura manuscrita espontánea. El aumento comunicacional que se obtiene va regularmente acompañado de un
incremento considerable en el nivel de procesamiento psíquico.
Se presenta el resumen de un caso atendido durante siete años,
desde que contaba nueve. Entre otras adquisiciones, se destacan
el comienzo de lenguaje verbal, la capacidad de sostener diálogos y la aparición de otras conductas simbólicas, como el dibujo.
