Espacio y tiempo : dimensiones estructurantes en la representación social de la vida cotidiana. = Space and time : structural dimensions in social representations of daily life.

RESUMEN


Desde la perspectiva de la Teoría de las Representaciones Sociales abordamos los procesos constitutivos de las mismas - objetivación, anclaje y thematización - en la construcción de las representaciones sociales de la vida cotidiana en una muestra de 10 jóvenes, de ambos sexos, entre 20 y 30 años. Consideramos dos dimensiones estructurantes: espacio y tiempo a través de una entrevista en profundidad. Reagrupamos categorías sobre el uso del espacio -adentro/afuera- y sentimientos asociados al desarrollo de su vida cotidiana -familiar/extraño. Concluimos que la themata adentro/afuera adquiere nuevos contenidos en función de lo que los participantes consideran como su vida cotidiana en el devenir temporal. Adentro: familiar, conocido, bienestar, seguridad, privado, y Afuera: extraño, novedoso, miedo, peligroso, público, revirtiendo representaciones habitualmente naturalizadas sobre lo privado y lo público.

ABSTRACT


From the view point of the Social Representations Theory we approach their constituent processes - objectivation, anchorage and themata - in the construction of social representations of daily life in a sample of 10 young people of both sexes, in ages between 20 and 30 years old. We consider two structural dimension: space and time through depth interviews. We make new categories about the space use - inside/outside - and the feelings which are associated to them in their daily life experience - familiar/strange. We conclude that the themata inside/outside obtains new contents related to what the participants consider as their daily life along the time. Inside: familiar, known, wellbeing, safe, private, and Out-side: strange, new, fear, dangerous, public, reverting usually naturalized representations about private and public.
