RESUMEN

El siguiente trabajo surge con el propósito de explorar uno de los factores etiológicos más importantes de los Trastornos de la Conducta Alimentaria. Se trata del vínculo con la figura de apego materno. Se indagó en una muestra de n=83 adolescentes mujeres con y sin TCA el apego a: madre, padre y pares, a través del IPPA
(Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment, de Armsden & Greenberg, 1987), obteniendo así una distribución de la población entre los tipos de apego: seguro, inseguro ambivalente e inseguro evitativo. En este trabajo solo se tomará la escala de apego a la madre. Los resultados arrojaron una correlación positiva entre apego inseguro evitativo y TCA por un lado, y el apego seguro y grupo control por el otro. Se discuten los alcances y limitaciones de estos hallazgos.

ABSTRACT

The following paper explores one of the most important etiopathology factors in Eating Disorders: Attachment to mother. A sample of N=83 female adolescents of an urban District of Bs.As. with and without ED, completed the IPPA (Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment, of Armsden and Greenberg, 1987) in order to research the attachment to: mother, father and pairs, obtaining this way a distribution of attachment types: secure, insecure ambivalent and insecure avoidant. In this paper, only the mother scale will be taken. Results showed a positive correlation between insecure avoidant attachment and ED on the one hand, and between secure and Control Group on the other hand. These findings and the limitations of this research are discussed.
