Actualización de la tabla de profesiones del registro de preferencias de Kuder. = An update of the table of professions of Kuder's register of preferences.

Resumen

En este trabajo se presenta un avance del Proyecto de Investigación 'Actualización e informatización del Registro de Preferencias de Kuder. Un aporte a las prácticas en Orientación Vocacional' (aprobado por SECyT. 2007/08. Res. Rec. No 222/07 y No 249/07, UNRC). El crecimiento y diversificación de la oferta
educativa de nivel superior, así como los cambios producidos en las incumbencias profesionales de diferentes carreras en nuestro país, justifica la relevancia de realizar una actualización de la Tabla de Profesiones del Registro de Preferencias de Kuder (Reformulación CH -1994) para su utilización en los Procesos de Orientación y Reorientación Vocacional. Por una parte, se procedió a relevar de las fuentes oficiales a nivel Nacional y Provincial (Provincia de Córdoba) la información sobre la oferta educativa creada en los últimos diez años (1997-2007) y por la otra, se revisó el resto de carreras ya existentes con el objetivo
de verificar modificaciones en los planes de estudio y consecuentemente en sus perfiles e incumbencias profesionales. Este estudio posibilitó elaborar la nueva tabla de profesiones como así también asignar a cada una de las carreras las áreas de intereses significativas y complementarias definidas en el cuestionario de referencia.

Abstract

In the present paper, we aim at sharing the advances of the research project 'Update and computerization of KUDER ́s Register of Preferences: A Contribution to Vocational Orientation Practices' (SeCyT 2007/08. Res. Rec. 222/07 and 249/07). The growth and diversification of the educational offer at University level, as well as the changes produced in the professional incumbencies of the different careers in our country, justify the relevance of attempting an update of the Table of Professions of KUDER ́S Register of Preferences (reformulation CH -1994) for its more efficient use in Vocational Orientation and Re-orientation Processes. On the one hand, relevant information about the educational offer developed in the last ten years (1997-2007) was obtained by consulting both National and Provincial (Córdoba Province) official documents and sources; and on the other, the rest of the existing careers was also analysed with the aim of identifying changes in their curricula and consequently in their professional profiles and incumbencies. This study made it possible for us to develop the new Table of Professions and also to assign to each of the careers the complementary and significant areas of interest as defined by the reference questionnaire.
