Lectura de "La metamorfosis", de Kafka.

El trabajo aborda el cuento de Kafka desde la perspectiva de un análisis basado en categorías psicoanalíticas que se fundamentan en la retórica del texto. Se abstiene de referirse a la biografía del autor y a sus otros textos. Descubre el quiasma como figura retórica que organiza la división de la enunciación en el texto: división entre insecto y ser hablante; división entre goce sufriente y deseo. Se revelan así no una, sino una pluralidad de metamorfosis que habían sido ignoradas por la pasión del protagonista de sacrificarse en favor del bienestar de los suyos.

This paper approaches Kafka´s story from the perspective of psychoanalytic categories based on the text´s rhetoric. It abstains from referring to the author´s biography and to his other texts. It discovers that chiasmus is the rhetorical figure which organizes the story´s divided enunciation: division between insect and speaking subject; division between submission and desire. Not one, but multiple metamorphosis are thus revealed, which had been ignored by the protagonist´s passion to sacrifice his desire in favour of his family´s well being.
