Arminda Aberastury : el psicoanálisis de niños y nuevas representaciones acerca de la infancia. = Arminda Aberastury and the history of child psychoanalysis in Argentina.

El artículo indaga a través de la lectura de Arminda Aberastury, cómo se consolidó el psicoanálisis de niños en la Argentina y de qué modo impactó sobre las representaciones vigentes acerca de la infancia. Se destacan algunos temas que recorren su obra como por ejemplo la interpretación de las dificultades de aprendizaje, el significado de lo profundo en la infancia, la importancia del juego y su relación con la sexualidad genital y las consecuencias de mentir u ocultar la verdad a los niños. El psicoanálisis infantil propuso un ideal de niño que cuestionó valores y costumbres establecidos, entre ellos el modo tradicional de pensar la relación entre adultos y niños. La autora analiza como puede leerse en Aberastury la construcción de un nuevo mito sobre la infancia y qué atributos caracterizan a este mito.

The article talks about the structure of the child psychoanalysis in Argentina trough the work of Arminda Aberastury. We have examined the way this discipline changed the cultural representations about children established in the society. We have emphasized some issues in Aberastury’s work as the interpretation of learning problems, the sense of the inner world in childhood and the distinction between superficiality and deepness, the importance of playing and its relation with genital sexuality and the consequences of lying to children. The child psychoanalysis introduced an ideal of child and it questioned values and mores. One of them was the traditional way of thinking relationship between adults and children. We have also investigated the construction of a new myth about childhood trough Aberastury’s work.
